On face are five CAIRO / 3 OC 29 CDS of various degrees of clarity. Stamps and black-on-red reg label cover much of top inscriptions, but enough seen (with narrow gap between vignette and ornamentation) to clearly distinguish the rare envelope. Seven hinge remnants touch 10 stamps, mostly at top edge of block. In the 20-row layout of the forme, which comprised (from the top down) alternating rows of inverted and upright stereos (apart from 4 single stereos), row 15 was apparently placed upright in error, causing 28 stamps on rows 14,15 and 16 to be contiguously upright.
