The booking form for this event is now available and members are invited to send completed forms to the address shown at the foot of the form by 16th December 2022.

The programme is being finalised by the SSG committee, and we plan to include the following topics:
1. Sudanese and Egyptian early mail pre the introduction of postage stamps to include letters to and from explorers, soldiers and those on expeditions etc.,
2. The Sudan 1897 provisional overprints on Egyptian stamps.
3. Forgeries and fakes of Egyptian and Sudanese stamps and postal history
4. Egypt and Sudan censored mail WW1 and WW2 including transit and incoming mail.

There will also be plenty of time for displays of any Egyptian or Sudanese material members wish to show either as a static display or accompanied by a verbal presentation.

The lst March 2023 is also the 125th Anniversary of the issue of the first Camel Postman stamps and displays featuring unusual items, usages etc., of these stamps are invited.
