1879 issue printed and perforated by De La Rue

Can anyone help me with a query regarding the 1879 issue printed and perforated by De La Rue. This is because I am carrying research out about the different types of perforation combs being used at that time.

My query is about the gutter between the two panes of stamps that made up the sheet. In early British stamps the gutter was perforated down the middle leaving wing margin stamps and thus the stamps being wider than normal. Later issues had the gutter perforated close to the stamps leaving a normal width.

I have seen the 1879 issue with the gutter perforated close to the stamps but was wondering whether any of the early printings lead to wing margin stamps.
