Q17 June 19, 2006    non member Nile Steamer service and the Cook's post office in Cairo I wondered also whether there had been any additional work undertaken /published by any of your members on the Nile steamer TPOs. I have Peter Smith's book but he does not attempt to link the TPO markings with particular vessels - has anybody else done so? I am the long time Treasurer of the TPO & Seapost Society and have been unable to find anything in the pages of our own quarterly Journal along such lines. Obviously I would like to identify whether any Thos Cook steamer carried a TPO.
