Q59 March 2009    member 118 Imperial Airways Cairo - Baghdad route A number of us who are serious Air Maill collectors (of Egypt) have been discussing the time when Imperial Airways took over the Cairo - Baghdad route from the R.A.F. The first flight was 12th Jan 1927, at the same time the route was extended to Basra. FFC`s Egypt - Basra are not uncommon, but, so far, we have not seen a FFC Egypt - Baghdad. Has any collector got one ? A photostat/scan, or report would be very useful.
