Three postmarks have been recorded. The earliest was seen from 1960 to 1963 using the French initials for United Arabic Republic. A larger one was used from 1967-1973, and a smaller one in the 1980s.
The larger one has U.A.R. while the smaller one has ARE. This change of style took place on the stamp issues during September 1971, but the latest recorded use of the large UAR datestamp is 1976.
Both postcards depicted have pictures of the holiday ships on which the senders were travelling.
